Bio

I am known as the Wildboar of Orkneyjar, some call me Taran. I am a warrior from the 7th century. You would know me as a Pict from Brodgar on the shores of Stennes Lock, on Meginland (Orkney Isle Mainland), I am an Orcadian. My father was a sailor from the east. He sailed and traded with the Orcadians before taking my mother as a wife. I was born to an Orcadian mother and a Northman. I was raised traveling with my father at age seven, learning and sailing and most times fighting. I traveled with my father returning to Stennes at times to stay for the winters.

Later came the travels south to Pictland and then began the many battles of becoming a man. Hunts that gave me my name as the Wildboar, killing a boar with a spear only. Tracking it was easy, killing it was not. I have a scar to me right knee that reminds me of the fierceness and the power of my totem animal.  The Wildboar from Orkneyjar. I  travel with my Kith and Kin in the Bacrie. We are fierce warriors that are known as the Blue Painted Freak s, due to the amount of Woad that is applied before battle. We are also known as the warriors who do not wear armor.

I won my woman in a Viking Game, who has give me two wonderful children. My wife Nia has blessed me with a poet and a warrior. My wife is a bard and wonderful Mother. Did I mention that she also is a warrior and runs a tight ship?

My oldest blood is a poet and bard. My youngest blood is a warrior of greatness. I have another older son who is known as my "First Born" This young one was sent to me by Odin himself, found upon a battle field left to die. He has grown to man and is known as Brieve. He is mighty!
